- Step 1 Boil 75g prawns and keep aside.
- Step 2 In a kadhai heat 1 tbsp ghee.
- Step 3 Add whole spices in the following sequence, 1/4 tsp jeera, 2 black peppercorns, 2 green elaichi, 2 cloves, 1 bay leaf.
- Step 4 Saute until the aroma is released.
- Step 5 Add 1/4 cup julienne onion and saute till its golden brown.
- Step 6 Then, add 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell of ginger goes.
- Step 7 Add 1 tsp green chilli paste, 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp jeera powder, and 1/2 tsp salt.
- Step 8 Add 1/8 cup chopped tomato and cook well.
- Step 9 Mix well and let the mixture cook for 5 mins. Now add 3 tbsp washed basmati rice.
- Step 10 Add water as required and allow to cook till the water is absorbed.
- Step 11 Give a Nestle Twist by adding kasuri methi.
- Step 12 Add boiled prawns and mix gently
- Step 13 Add 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves and mix well
- Step 14 Cover and cook till done and serve hot with raita.
