Prawn Koliwada is a spicy Fried Prawn dish, relished as a starter in restaurants and also an appetizer for a party. These deep-fried ,crunchy prawns can be identified by their signature red color because of the use of Kashmiri red chili powder.
In a bowl, add prawns and mix in 1 tbsp curd, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp red chilly powder, 1/8th tsp haldi, 1 tsp dhania powder, 1/4th tsp garam masala, 1/4th tsp black pepper powder, 1/4th tsp dry mango powder and mix.
Now add 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp lemon juice, 1 tsp besan, 1 tsp corn flour, 1/4th tsp crushed ajwain, mix and marinate.
In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil.
Transfer the marinated prawns in the oil and fry from both sides until cooked completely.
Serve crispy hot prawns.
