  • For the chutney

  • In a mixie, add 1.5 tbsp dry coconut, 1.5 tbsp chana dal, 1/4 tsp green chilli, 1/4 tsp chopped ginger, 1/8 tsp salt and blend it with water.

  • For the Potato Uttapam

  • In a mixing bowl, add batter, 2 tbsp grated potato, 1/8 tsp jeera powder, 1/8 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp chopped coriander leaves, mix them well.

  • In a frying pan, add 1/2 tsp oil, pour the batter.

  • Cover & cook the uttapam.

  • Flip the uttapam and cook it on the other side.

  • Serve it hot with chutney.
