Heat 1 tsp butter in a frying pan at a low flame. Add 1 tsp chopped garlic and saute.
Once the garlic is slightly browned add 1/2 cup diced carrot, 1/4th cup diced potato, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/8th tsp black pepper and then add a little water.
Cover allowing it to simmer.
Once cooked, pour the soup in a blender and blend until a soup like consistency is obtained.
Garnish with a sprinkle of black sesame and a coriander leaf.
Serve hot.
