A unique combinatin of chicken cooked in a poppy seed paste and a tomato base puree. With the goodness of Indian flavors and juicy tender chicken, a side perfect to be paired with rotis or rice to complete any meal.
For puree and paste
Make a puree of 1.5 tbsp chopped onion and 1 tbsp chopped tomato.
Take 3 tbsp khas khas and 1 no. Green chilli with water.
For the vegetable
In a pan, heat 1 tsp mustard oil.
Add 1/4th tsp saunf and kalonji, 3 tbsp tomato puree, 2 tbsp posto paste, 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and saute.
Add 1/2 tsp chopped green chilli, 1 tsp red chilly powder, 1 tsp haldi, 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp sugar. Mix well.
Add water, 5 pieces chicken breast and mix well.
Cover and allow to cook until well cooked.
Serve hot with rotis or rice.
