Pomfret Curry Recipe

Pomfret is rich in protein and has a tremendous amount of omega 3 fatty acids. Pomfrets are excellent sources of protein that are low in fat. Pomfret fish is high in Vitamin D and contains minerals such as iron, zinc and calcium in it.

1/2 Tsp(0.46 gm) Coriander Leaves (Chopped)

1/2 Tsp(3.0 gm) Ginger Garlic Paste

1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Tamarind Pulp
ingredients
1/2 Tsp(1.0 gm) Red Chilly (Powder)

1/8 Tsp(0.3 gm) Haldi
ingredients
1/8 Tsp(0.56 gm) Salt

1 Tbsp(8.0 ml) Oil

As Required(70.0 ml) Water
  • For the marination

    Take 2 pomfret fish pieces, add 1/2 tsp red chilly powder, 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/8th tsp salt, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp tamarind pulp.

  • Marinate the fish and keep it aside.

  • Take a pan and heat 1 tbsp oil.

  • Add the marinated fish pieces.

  • Shallow fry the fish on both the sides.

  • Add water and mix well.

  • Add 2 tbsp coconut milk.

  • Sprinkle 1/2 tsp chopped coriander leaves.

  • Mix and cook well.

  • Serve it with rice.
