Plain Uttapam With Coconut Chutney Recipe

These soft fluffy indian pancakes are perfect combination of cereal and pulse. Rich in protein and fiber serve this with coconut chutney.

1/4 Tsp(0.11 gm) Black Urad Dal

1 Tbsp(1.0 gm) Chana Dal

1/2 Tsp(0.22 gm) Rai

1/2 Tsp(0.13 gm) Ginger(Chopped)

1/4 Tsp(0.13 gm) Salt

  • For Uttapam

    Pour 1.5 ladle batter on tawa, Spread it in round shape. Then add 2 tsp Oil on & Sides of it. Flip it & roast evenly

  • Serve hot.

  • For Chutney

    Add 1/4 cup chopped fresh coconut, 1/2 Tsp chopped ginger, 1 tbsp chana dal, 1/4 tsp tamarind paste, 1 tsp chopped green chili, 1/4 tsp salt and blend well.

  • For tadka, add 1/2 tsp oil, 1/2 tsp rai Allow it to Crackle.

  • Add 4 no. kadi patta, and 1/4 tsp black urad dal

  • Add Tadka on Chutney.
