Plain Paratha Recipe

This traditional punjabi paratha is ideal for a wholesome meal or as a healthy snack.

Nutritional info

1/3 Cup(48.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)
1/4 Tsp(0.73 gm) White Til
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1 Tsp(4.0 gm) Ghee
As Required(20.0 ml) Water
  • Knead 1/3 cup of wheat flour into a soft dough.

  • Roll a mediumsized dough ball into a round paratha using a rolling pin.

  • Now, fold the edges inwards to shape it as a triangle.

  • Roast on a heated pan, brushing on some ghee with sesame seeds on both sides.

  • Serve hot and sprinkle some watermelon seeds on top for a nutritional twist.
