Pineapple Cake Recipe

This Pineapple Cake recipe uses crushed pineapple to create a fluffy textured cake that isn't overly sweet. The perfect cake for any celebration.

1/2 Cup(64.0 gm) Maida
2 Tbsp(24.0 gm) Canned Pineapple (Chopped )
3 Tbsp(58.0 gm) Condensed Milk
1/4 Tsp(0.83 gm) Vanilla Extract
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Vinegar
1 Tbsp(11.0 gm) Sugar (Powder)
2 Tbsp(23.0 gm) Butter
As Required(30.0 ml) Water
  • Take a mixing bowl, add 3 tbsp nestle condensed milk, 1 tbsp powdered sugar, 2 tbsp butter and whisk well.

  • Sieve 1/2 cup maida, 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/4th tsp baking soda in the mixing bowl.

  • Further add a mix of 1/4th tsp vinegar and 1/4th tsp vanilla extract.

  • Pouring in a little water fold the mix well.

  • Add 2 tbsp chopped canned pineapple and mix it in.

  • Coat a steel tin with 1/2 tsp oil and 1/2 tsp maida.

  • Pour the batter in the tin making sure it is levelled, put it for baking at 180 degree Celsius for 25 minutes.

  • After 25 minutes, check with a toothpick if the cake is done.

  • Garnish with a pineapple slice.

  • Serve fresh and warm.
