Pineapple Cake Recipe

This pineapple cake recipe uses crushed pineapple to create a fluffy textured cake that isn't overly sweet. The perfect cake for any celebration.

1/2 Cup(64.0 gm) Maida
1/2 Tsp(1.0 gm) Maida
1.0 Powder Tsp(3.0 gm) Sugar
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Baking Soda
1/4 Tsp(0.83 gm) Vanilla Extract
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Vinegar
6.0 Tsp(24.0 gm) Butter
0.13 Tsp(0.41 ml) Oil
30.0 Ml(30.0 ml) Water
  • Take a mixing bowl, add 1/3 cup Nestlé Milkmaid, 1 tbsp powdered sugar, 6 tsp butter and whisk well.

  • Sieve 1/2 cup maida, 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/4 tsp baking soda in the mixing bowl.

  • Further add a mix of 1/4 tsp vinegar and 1/4 tsp vanilla

  • extract.

  • Pouring in a little water and fold the mixture well.

  • Add1/3 cup chopped canned pineapple and mix it in.

  • Coat a steel tin with 1/2 tsp oil and 1/2 tsp maida.

  • Pour the batter in the tin making sure it is levelled, put it for baking at 180 degree celsius for 25 minutes.

  • After 25 minutes, check with a toothpick if the cake is

  • done.

  • Garnish with a pineapple slice.

  • Serve fresh and warm.
