Peas Mushroom Curry Recipe

Peas mushroom curry is a popular Indian dish that is mildly spiced and goes well with plain rice, rotis, naan and even plain parathas. Mushrooms are slowly cooked in their own moisture in this dish, giving it an aromatic flavour.

1/2 Diced Cup(48.0 gm) Mushroom
2.0 Tbsp(20.0 gm) Fresh Peas
1.0 Chopped Tbsp(8.0 gm) Onion
1.0 Chopped Tbsp(13.0 gm) Tomato
1.0 Chopped Tbsp(3.0 gm) Coriander Leaves
1.0 Paste Tsp(4.0 gm) Cashewnut
1/2 Chopped Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Chilli
1/2 Grated Tsp(0.94 gm) Ginger
1/2 Chopped Tsp(1.0 gm) Garlic
1/2 Powder Tsp(1.0 gm) Red Chilly
1/2 Tsp(0.82 gm) Dhania Powder
1/2 Tsp(0.74 gm) Garam Masala
1/4 Tsp(0.6 gm) Haldi
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Salt
2.0 Tsp(7.0 ml) Oil
40.0 Ml(40.0 ml) Water
  • Heat a kadhai, add 2 tsp oil, 1 tbsp onion, 1 tbsp tomato, 1/2 tsp green chilly, 1/2 tsp garlic, 1/2 tsp ginger, 1/2 tsp red chilly powder, 1/4 tsp haldi powder, 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp dhania powder, 1/4 tsp salt & saute well.

  • Add 2 tbsp peas and saute it. Add water & mix well.

  • Cook it for 2 minutes. Add 1/2 cup button mushroom, 1 tbsp coriander leaves. Saute well.

  • Add 1 tsp cashew nut paste and water into it.

  • Add kasuri methi (Nutritional Twist). Add more water & cook well.

  • Serve hot.
