  • Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pressure cooker or pressure pan.

  • Add 1/4th tsp jeera, 2 cloves, 5 leaves kadi patta,1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp hing and saute.

  • Next, add 1 tbsp green peas and 1 tbsp chopped carrot and saute well.

  • Add 2 tbsp tur dal, 2 tbsp rice, and 1/4th tsp salt.

  • Add water, close the lid and pressure cook for up to 3 whistles.

  • Serve hot.
