Coconut Patishapta Recipe

3.0 Tbsp(22.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Rice Flour
2 Tsp(7.0 gm) Suji
1/4 Grated Cup(10.0 gm) Fresh Coconut
1/3 Cup(70.0 ml) Nestlé A+ Milk
2.0 Tsp(8.0 gm) Jaggery
1.0 Chopped Tbsp(18.0 gm) Jaggery
1/3 Tsp(1.0 gm) Ghee
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Coconut Oil
1/8 Tsp(0.54 gm) Salt
  • For Patishapta Batter

    In a bowl add 1/2 tsp rice flour,2 tsp suji,2.5 tbsp whole wheat flour,1.5 tsp jaggery powder,1/8th tsp salt,1/3 cup Nestlé A+ Milk and mix well. Keep aside.

  • For Coconut Filling

    In a Kadai

  • In a Kadai heat, 1/2 tsp coconut oil add 1/8th cup grated fresh coconut,1.5 tbsp jaggery powder and stir it till dry.

  • Take a small portion of the kheer and give a cylindrical shape.

  • Take a patishapta batter and heat pan then greased with 1/4th tsp ghee.

  • Pour patishapta batter and swirl to form patishapta.Then add coocnut fillling at one end of patishapta and roll it nicely.

  • Serve fresh.
