Steps
- Step 1
Heat a pan, add 1/4 tsp oil, 1/2 tsp grated garlic, 1/3 cup chopped spinach and cook until it wilts
- Step 2
Add 2 tbsp grated paneer, 1/8 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper, 1/8 tsp soya sauce, mix well and cook for a minute
- Step 3
Give it a Nestle Twist by adding grated ginger
- Step 4
Garnish with 1 tsp chopped spring onion
- Step 5
Turn off the heat and let it cool
- Step 6
In a bowl add 1/2 cup whole wheat flour, 1/2 tsp butter and mix well
- Step 7
Pour in little water and knead into a firm dough
- Step 8
Divide the dough into equal parts, roll each to a round shape and add the spinach paneer filling
- Step 9
Wet the edges with water, fold it into a triangle, and press to seal.
- Step 10
Bring the two corners together and press firmly to create the classic wonton shape.
- Step 11
Place wontons in a steamer lined with parchment and steam for 8–10 minutes.
- Step 12
Heat a pan, add 2 tsp oil, place the steamed wontons and roast until golden brown and crispy.
- Step 13
Serve hot with dipping sauces like soy sauce, chili oil, or sweet chili sauce
