Paneer tikka is an Indian dish made from chunks of paneer marinated in spices and grilled in a tandoor. It is a vegetarian alternative to chicken tikka and other meat dishes. It is a popular dish that is widely available in India and countries with Indian diaspora.
In a bowl, add 1 tbsp curd, 1/2 tsp red chilly powder, 1/2 tsp haldi, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp black pepper powder, 1/2 tsp dhania powder, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and 2 tsp oil. Mix well.
Now add 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp corn flour mixture, 20 ml water and mix into a smooth paste. Keep aside.
For tikka skewers
Insert chicken and capsicum alternately on skewers, apply the marination well.
Brush the pan with oil.
Roast till light brown or well cooked.
Serve hot with coriander chutney.
