Gluten Free Paneer Stuffed Paratha With Ghee Recipe

This particular paneer stuffed paratha is a gluten-free version but tastes delightfully delicious. It is a great variation to give to the children during their meal times or even as part of their tiffin. Presence of paneer makes these rotis rich in protein, calcium and phosphorous. Additionally, jowar which is rich in protein and fibre, making this a winning combo.

  • In a mixing bowl, take 2 tbsp jowar flour, 1 tbsp rajgira flour, 1/8th tsp salt. Adding a little water knead it into a soft dough and keep aside.

  • For the filling take a fresh bowl, add 2 tbsp grated paneer, 1/8th tsp salt, 1 tsp chopped green chilli, little ghee and mix well. Keep aside.

  • Take the kneaded dough, roll it in balls, lightly coat it with jowar flour and flatten them to make a circular paratha shape using a rolling pin.

  • Take the filling mixture and put it in the centre. Covering from all sides make it into a ball form with filling. Flatten and make it in a circular paratha shape using a rolling pin.

  • Heat a nonstick tava on a low flame and roast the paratha on it. Flip and spread 1 tsp ghee on the paratha.

  • Allowing it to cook, make sure both sides are browned well.

  • Garnish with a dollop of butter.

  • Serve hot.
