Paneer Jowar Roti With Oil Recipe

Paneer jowar roti is a great variation to give to the children during their meal times or even as part of their tiffin. Combination of paneer and jowar rich in protein, calcium and fibre, making this a winning combo.

1.0 Grated Tbsp(10.0 gm) Paneer
2.0 Flour Tbsp(13.0 gm) Jowar
1.0 Tbsp(9.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)
1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
1/4 Powder Tsp(0.54 gm) Red Chilly
1/8 Tsp(0.29 gm) Haldi
1/8 Tsp(0.54 gm) Salt
1/2 Tsp(2.0 ml) Oil
15.0 Ml(15.0 ml) Water
  • In a mixing bowl, take 2 tbsp jowar flour, 1 tbsp wheat flour, 2 tbsp grated paneer, 1/4th tsp jeera, 1/4th tsp red chilly powder, 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/8th tsp salt, 1 tsp oil and mix well.

  • Adding a little water, knead it into a soft dough.

  • Rolling it in balls coat them very lightly with whole wheat flour, flatten them and make it in a circular roti shape using a rolling pin.

  • Heat a nonstick tava on a low flame and roast the roti on it. Flip and spread 1/2 tsp oil on the roti.

  • Allowing it to cook, make sure both sides are browned well.

  • Serve hot.
