Palak Dal Recipe

This simple and easy spinach dal is healthy, wholesome and packed with protein and fiber. Paired with roti or rice makes it an comforting meal for your child.

1 Tbsp(17.0 gm) Tur Dal

3 Tsp(16.0 gm) Palak (Chopped)

1 Tbsp(8.0 gm) Onion (Chopped)

1/2 Tbsp(6.0 gm) Tomato (Chopped)
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(0.53 gm) Green Chilli (Chopped)
ingredients
1/2 Tsp(1.0 gm) Garlic (Chopped)

1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(0.74 gm) Hing
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(0.6 gm) Haldi
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt

1 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil
  • Take a frying pan and heat 1 tsp Oil on a low flame.

  • Add 1/2 tsp Jeera and allow it to splutter.

  • Add 1 tsp Chopped Garlic, 1/4th tsp Hing, 1 tbsp chopped onion, 1/2 tsp chopped Tomatoes and 1/4th tsp green Chillies.

  • Saute well until you start getting a beautiful aroma.

  • Add in 1/4th tsp haldi along with 1/4th tsp Salt and saute.

  • Additionally put in 3 tsp thinly cut palak. Saute well making sure everything is evenly distributed.

  • Pour in 1 tbsp Cooked Tur dal combining all ingredients effectively.

  • Garnish with coriander leaves.

  • Serve hot with Chapati
