Palak Curry Recipe

This very easy to make palak curry is rich in vitamins. Palak being a superfood adds whole lot of nutrients in one dish!

1/4 Tsp(0.37 gm) Garam Masala

1/4 Tsp(0.44 gm) Jeera Powder

1/4 Tsp(0.54 gm) Red Chilly (Powder)

1/8 Tsp(0.3 gm) Haldi

1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
ingredients
1 Tbsp(14.0 gm) Curd
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
ingredients
1 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil

As Required(10.0 ml) Water
  • Blanch and puree 1 cup palak.

  • Take a kadhai and heat 1 tsp oil

  • Add 1/4th tsp jeera, 2 tbsp chopped onion and sauté till onions are translucent.

  • Then add 2 tbsp chopped tomato and mix well.

  • Once mixed, add 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp chilli powder, 1/4th tsp jeera powder and 1/4th tsp garam masala. Mix till the raw spices smell goes off.

  • Then add the palak puree and a little water. Mix well.

  • Finally add 1/4th tsp salt and 1 tbsp curd.

  • Serve hot with chapati.
