- Step 1
In a pan, heat 1.5 tsp cooking oil.
- Step 2
Add 1 star anise, 1 bay leaf, 1/4 tsp jeera, 1/4 cup chopped onion, 1/2 tsp grated ginger and saute.
- Step 3
Now add 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp haldi, 1/8 tsp dhania powder, 1/4 tsp chole masala and mix.
- Step 4
Add cooked chole, 1 tsp dry red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp garam masala, palak puree, 1/4 tsp dry mango powder and 1/8 cup chopped tomato. Mix well.
- Step 5
Give a nestle twist by adding white sesame seeds.
- Step 6
Serve hot with roti.
