Besan Pakora Recipe

Pakora are a delicious Indian crisp fried snack made with gram flour, spices or any other ingredient like onion, paneer , spinack potato or many more.....its quick, easy and simple recipe.....serve hot with chutney or ketchup.

4 Tbsp(38.0 gm) Besan
1/4 Tsp(0.54 gm) Red Chilly (Powder)
1/8 Tsp(0.3 gm) Haldi
1/8 Tsp(0.29 gm) Ajwain
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
For Frying(40.0 ml) Oil
As Required(10.0 ml) Water
  • Take a mixing bowl and add 4 tbsp besan powder, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/8th tsp ajwain, 1/4th tsp red chilli powder, 1/8th tsp haldi and a little water.

  • Whisk using a spoon till a paste like consistency is obtained. Keep aside.

  • Heat oil in a frying pan for frying.

  • Put dollops of the raw batter in the frying pan using a spoon and allow it to cook.

  • Once cooked, take the pakodas off the flame.

  • Put them in the serving platter and garnish with coriander.

  • Serve with ketchup or chutney.
