Onion Kulcha With Butter Recipe

Onion kulcha is a tasty north Indian flatbread stuffed with lot of diced or sliced onions. This kulchas are so good that there is no need to make any side dish with it. Although it can compliment well with curries, plain Nestlé A+ Curd or raita.

1/4 Cup(32.0 gm) Maida
2.0 Chopped Tbsp(16.0 gm) Onion
1.0 Tbsp(11.0 ml) Nestlé A+ Milk
2.0 Tsp(8.0 gm) Nestlé A+ Curd
0.13 Tsp(0.45 gm) Baking Powder
0.13 Tsp(0.67 gm) Baking Soda
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1.0 Tsp(4.0 gm) Butter
5.0 Ml(5.0 ml) Water
  • In a bowl, add 4 tbsp maida, 2 tbsp chopped onion,1 tbsp Nestlé A+ Milk,2 tsp Nestlé A+ Curd,1/4th tsp salt,1/8th tsp baking powder,1/8th tsp baking soda. Mix well.

  • Add Water as required. Knead dough.

  • Roll into Kulcha.Dust rolling pin.

  • Heat pan.Put kulcha.

  • Add butter.

  • Roast properly.

  • Serve Hot. Enjoy.
