  • Prepreparation

    Soak and sprout 2 tsp moong.

  • For burger

    Heat 1 tsp oil on low flame in a frying pan, add 1 tbsp chopped onion and saute.

  • Once the onions start turning slightly transparent, add 1/2 tsp chopped garlic, 1 tbsp grated carrot, 1/8th tsp black pepper powder.

  • Saute and add 1/4th tsp red chilli, 1/4th tsp jeera powder, 1/4th tsp dhania powder, 1/4th tsp salt and keep aside.

  • To make the sprouts burger cutlet, take a mixing bowl, add 1 tbsp blanched moong sprouts and mash.

  • Once the sprouts is mashed, add the previously cooked spice mixture, 1 tsp soya sauce, 1 tbsp oats flour, a little water and mix all the ingredients properly with hand.

  • Making sure all the ingredients are evenly distributed, shape them into a cutlet and keep aside.

  • Heat 1 tsp oil on a low flame in a frying pan and shallow fry the cutlets on both sides till crispy and golden brown, keep aside.

  • For the final assembly of burger, take a burger bun and cut it into 2 halves horizontally..

  • Spread 2 tsp mayonnaise on the lower half of the bun followed by the previously cooked bean burger cutlet, 2 slices of tomato, 2 slices of onion, ½ lettuce and cover with the other half of the bun.

  • Serve immediately with ketchup.
