Oats Roti With Oil Recipe

Delicious oats roti is a snack with added fiber, lower calories and lower glycemic index than the traditional roti.

3 Tbsp(26.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)

1 Tbsp(8.0 gm) Oats

1 Tsp(3.0 gm) Onion (Chopped)

1/4 Tsp(0.53 gm) Green Chilli (Chopped)
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt

1/2 Tsp(2.0 ml) Oil

As Required(10.0 ml) Water
  • In a mixing bowl, add 1 tbsp wheat flour, 2 tsp of oats, 1 tsp of finely chopped onion and 1/4th tsp each of chopped green chilli and salt.

  • Add sufficient water and knead into a soft dough.

  • Roll the dough into a roti using a rolling pin.

  • Heat 1/2 tsp oil in a tawa.

  • Roast roti thoroughly, flipping it as required to cook both sides.

  • Serve hot on a plate.
