Delicious oats roti is a snack with added fiber, lower calories and lower glycemic index than the traditional roti.
In a mixing bowl, add 1 tbsp wheat flour, 2 tsp of oats, 1 tsp of finely chopped onion and 1/4th tsp each of chopped green chilli and salt.
Add sufficient water and knead into a soft dough.
Roll the dough into a roti using a rolling pin.
Heat 1/2 tsp oil in a tawa.
Roast roti thoroughly, flipping it as required to cook both sides.
Serve hot on a plate.
