Oats Malpua Recipe

Traditional Indian dessert given a twist with the addition of fiber and nutrient rich oats is the oats malpua. A healthy dessert to be served at any occasion.

Nutritional info

2 Tbsp(12.0 gm) Oats (Flour)
1 Tbsp(7.0 gm) Maida
1/4 Cup(51.0 ml) Nestlé A+ Milk
2 Tbsp(26.0 gm) Sugar
1/8 Powder Tsp(0.24 gm) Green Elaichi (Powder)
For Frying(15.0 gm) Ghee
  • For Batter

    In a mixing bowl, add 2 tbsp oats, 1 tbsp maida flour, 1/4th cup Nestlé A+ Milk, 2 tbsp sugar and 1/8th tsp green elaichi powder.

  • Whisk all ingredients well until smooth.

  • For Oats Malpua

    In a heated pan, add 1 tbsp ghee and pour the batter.

  • Deep fry it until golden.

  • Tasty malpua is ready to be served hot.
