- Step 1 Soak, grind and ferment overnight 1 tbsp rice and 1 tsp urad dal.
- Step 2 In a bowl, add the batter, 1.5 tbsp oats flour,1/8 tsp salt and water as required.
- Step 3 Mix all ingredients well without lumps.
- Step 4 Also boil 1 egg, chop it and keep aside.
- Step 5 On a heated tawa, brush 1/4 tsp oil and pour a ladle of the batter.
- Step 6 On top of uttapam add 1 tbsp chopped onion,1 tbsp chopped tomato,1 tbsp chopped green capsicum, chopped boiled egg, 1 tsp oil from sides. Gently press the toppings down into the uttapam.
- Step 7 Give a Nestle Twist by adding flaxseeds.
- Step 8 Roast it well on both sides.
- Step 9 Tasty uttapam is ready to serve.
