Mutton shammi kebab is a traditional Indian recipe served as snack or starter of the meal. Protein rich kebabs can go with chapatis or naan.
In a pressure cooker, add 1/2 cup minced mutton, 1/4 cup diced potato, 3 dry red chilly, 1/8 cinnamon stick, 1 tsp dhania seeds, cloves, black pepper corns, 4 garlic cloves, 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1/4 tsp salt and water.
Pressure cook for 3 whistles.
Remove potato & blend remaining mixture into paste.
Mash potato and add into mixture.
Add 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves and mix properly.
Grease hands with oil and make tikki.
Heat 1.5 tsp oil in a pan.
Shallow fry tikki on both the sides till it turns golden brown and serve.
