Mutton Shami Kebab Recipe

Mutton shammi kebab is a traditional Indian recipe served as snack or starter of the meal. Protein rich kebabs can go with chapatis or naan.

1/8 Stick(0.03 gm) Cinnamon

1 Tbsp(3.0 gm) Coriander Leaves (Chopped)

1 Tsp(2.0 gm) Dhania Seeds

1/4 Tsp(0.37 gm) Garam Masala
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt

1.5 Tsp(5.0 ml) Oil

  • In a pressure cooker, add 1/2 cup minced mutton, 1/4 cup diced potato, 3 dry red chilly, 1/8 cinnamon stick, 1 tsp dhania seeds, cloves, black pepper corns, 4 garlic cloves, 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1/4 tsp salt and water.

  • Pressure cook for 3 whistles.

  • Remove potato & blend remaining mixture into paste.

  • Mash potato and add into mixture.

  • Add 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves and mix properly.

  • Grease hands with oil and make tikki.

  • Heat 1.5 tsp oil in a pan.

  • Shallow fry tikki on both the sides till it turns golden brown and serve.
