Ingredients

- Step 1
Heat 2 tsp oil in a deep kadhai.
- Step 2
Add some dry spices, 2 black pepper, 1 black elaichi, 1 green elaichi, 1/4 stick cinnamon, 1 star anise, 1/2 bay leaf, 2 cloves, and 1/4 tsp jeera roast till aromatic.
- Step 3
Add 3 tbsp chopped onion, and saute till translucent.
- Step 4
Now, add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4 tsp red chilly powder, 1/4 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp dry mango powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp garam masala and fry the spices well on low heat.

Saute till it starts to leave oil.
- Step 6
Add water to adjust consistency, stir well and allow to simmer.
- Step 7
Add cooked mutton to the gravy, and cover with a lid.
- Step 8
Allow to cook on low to medium heat.
- Step 9
Garnish with 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or chapatti.
