Peas Mushroom Dry Vegetable Recipe

Mutter mushroom is a prominent Indian curry which is mildly spiced and tastes very good with plain rice, rotis, naan and even with plain parathas. In this dish, mushrooms are slowly cooked in their own moisture giving it an aromatic flavor.

  • Heat a kadhai, and add 1 tbsp oil

  • Add 1 tbsp chopped onion and saute till translucent.

  • Add 1 tbsp chopped tomato, 1/2 tsp chopped green chilli, 1/2 tsp chopped garlic, 1/2 tsp grated ginger, 1/2 tsp red chilly powder, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp dhania powder, 1/2 tsp salt and saute till tomatoes are soft and mushy and spices are aromatic.

  • Then, add 2 tbsp peas and some water to avoid the burning of spices.

  • Cover with a lid and cook well.

  • Open the lid and add 1/2 cup diced mushrooms and allow to cook.

  • Add 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, mix well and serve hot with roti or rice.
