Multigrain Upma Recipe

Multigrain Upma is a soft satiating food item made with a mix of grains, pulses and veggies flavoured with a few aromatic spices that make a perfect breakfast, snack, tiffin, or light meal option.

2.0 Tsp(8.0 gm) Urad Dal

2.0 Boiled Tbsp(17.0 gm) Fresh Peas
2.0 Chopped Tbsp(17.0 gm) Carrot

1/2 Chopped Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Chilli
1/4 Tsp(0.93 gm) Rai
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1.0 Tbsp(8.0 ml) Oil
100.0 Ml(100.0 ml) Water
  • In a pan, add 1 tbsp bajra, 1 tbsp jowar, 1 tbsp dalia and dry roast.

  • In another pan, heat 1 tsp oil, add 1/4 tsp rai, 1/2 tsp black urad dal and mix well.

  • Add 1/2 tsp chopped green chilli, 1 tbsp chopped onion and saute.

  • Now add 1 tbsp chopped carrot, 1 tbsp boiled peas, mix.

  • Add the flours and mix.

  • Add water, 1/4th salt, cover and allow to cook.

  • Serve hot.
