Moongdal Idli Recipe

Moong dal idli is a delectable South Indian breakfast with macro and micro nutrients. This protein-rich Idli also provides the benefits of antioxidants and can be served best with coconut chutney or sambhar.

1.0 Chopped Tsp(0.92 gm) Coriander Leaves
1/4 Chopped Tsp(0.53 gm) Green Chilli
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1/2 Tsp(2.0 ml) Oil
45.0 Ml(45.0 ml) Water
  • Prepreparation

    Soak and grind rice and urad dal. Mix and ferment it overnight

  • In the batter, add 1/4th tsp chopped green chilli, 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves, 1/4th tsp salt and mix it well

  • Grease the idli mould with 1/2 tsp oil

  • Add the batter into the greased moulds

  • Cover and steam the idli till it is cooked
