Moongdal Dhokla Recipe

1/3 Cup(80.0 gm) Nestlé A+ Curd
1/2 Cup(120.0 gm) Moong Dal
4.0 Number(0.44 gm) Kadi Patta
1/4 Chopped Tsp(0.53 gm) Green Chilli
1/4 Grated Tsp(0.47 gm) Ginger
1/4 Tsp(0.41 gm) Dhania Powder
1/4 Tsp(0.38 gm) Dhania Seeds
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Fruit Salt
1/4 Tsp(0.93 gm) Rai
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Salt
1.0 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil
50.0 Ml(50.0 ml) Water
  • Soak moong dal overnight and grind to a smooth paste.

  • In a bowl mix this dal mixture with 1/3rd Cup Nestlé A+ Curd and 1/2 tsp salt.

  • Now, to this mix add 1/4 th tsp dhania powder, 1/4th tsp grated ginger, 1/8th tsp chopped green chillies and 1/4th tsp fruit salt.

  • Add a sufficient amount of water & whisk the ingredients well.

  • For Tadka

    Heat 1 tsp oil In a small pan

  • Add 1/4th tsp rai, 4 5 leaves of fresh kadi patta, 1/4th tsp dhania seeds and allow to crackle.

  • Pour the tadka on to the plated dhoklas and serve with mint chutney.
