Moong Dal Dosa Recipe

A delightful and wholesome Moong Dal Dosa is a savoury combination of rice and yellow Split Moong Dal. It can be served with your favourite chutney for a nutritious breakfast or lunchbox meal.

2.0 Tbsp(26.0 gm) Moong Dal
1.0 Tsp(3.0 gm) Rice Flour
1.0 Chopped Tsp(0.92 gm) Coriander Leaves
1/4 Chopped Tsp(0.53 gm) Green Chilli
1/4 Chopped Tsp(0.54 gm) Ginger
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
2.0 Tsp(5.0 ml) Oil
45.0 Ml(45.0 ml) Water
  • Wash and Soak 2 tbsp Moong Dal for few hours.

  • Rinse and wash the dal and Add 1 tsp Rice Flour, Add 1 tsp Chopped Coriander Leaves, Add 1/4th tsp Chopped Green Chilli, 1/4th tsp Chopped Ginger, 1/4th tsp Salt, to it. Mix Well and Grind this mixture till Smooth.

  • Now heat a nonstick flat bottom Tawa on low to medium heat.

  • Pour and Spread the batter with the help of a deep ladle.

  • Add 2 tsp Oil from sides of dosa, flip and roast well from both sides.

  • Serve hot with your favorite chutney.
