1.0 Grated Tsp(2.0 gm) Fresh Coconut
1 Tsp(5.0 gm) Ginger Garlic Paste
1.0 Chopped Tsp(0.92 gm) Coriander Leaves
1/4 Chopped Tsp(0.53 gm) Green Chilli
3.0 Number(0.33 gm) Kadi Patta
0.13 Tsp(0.3 gm) Jeera
1/4 Tsp(0.6 gm) Haldi
0.13 Powder Tsp(0.27 gm) Red Chilly
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
3.0 Tsp(8.0 ml) Oil
50.0 Ml(50.0 ml) Water
  • Wash and soak moong dal for few hours, drain the excess water and grind dal with sufficient water grind till smooth consistency.

  • Now take this moong dal batter in a mixing bowl, add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4 tsp haldi, 1/8 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp chopped green chillies, 3 curry leaves, 1/8 tsp jeera & mix well.

  • 1 tsp fresh grated coconut, and 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves, mix the batter well and heat a nonstick pan.

  • Pour and spread the batter with the help of a deep ladle.

  • Add 2.5 tsp oil from sides of cheela, flip and roast well from both sides.

  • Serve hot with your favourite chutney.
