This traditional moong dal recipe is a time tested household staple. Provides wholesome nutrition as it is rich in fibre, folate and vitamins and also aids in digestion.
In a pan, add 1 tsp of oil, 1/2 tsp each of jeera and chopped green chilli.
Then add 1 tbsp of chopped onion and saute for a minute.
Next, add 1/2 tbsp of chopped tomato, 1/4 tsp each of haldi and salt and mix well.
Add cooked moong dal and mix well.
Add required amount of water and cook till the mix thickens.
Garnish with white sesame seeds for a nutritional twist.
