Moong Dal Recipe

This traditional moong dal recipe is a time tested household staple. Provides wholesome nutrition as it is rich in fibre, folate and vitamins and also aids in digestion.

Nutritional info

  • In a pan, add 1 tsp of oil, 1/2 tsp each of jeera and chopped green chilli.

  • Then add 1 tbsp of chopped onion and saute for a minute.

  • Next, add 1/2 tbsp of chopped tomato, 1/4 tsp each of haldi and salt and mix well.

  • Add cooked moong dal and mix well.

  • Add required amount of water and cook till the mix thickens.

  • Garnish with white sesame seeds for a nutritional twist.
