Fresh radish leaves add a flavourful punch and enhance the nutritional value of this traditional moong dal recipe.
First cook 2.5 Tbsp of soaked moong dal and keep aside.
In a kadhai, add 1 tsp of oil,1/2 tsp each of jeera and chopped green chilli.
Then add 1 tbsp of chopped onion and saute for a minute.
Next, add 1/2 tbsp of chopped tomato, 1/4th tsp each of haldi and salt and mix well.
Add 2.5 tbsp of soaked and cooked moong dal and mix well.
Add 100 ml of water and cook till the mix thickens.
Garnish with 1 tbsp of chopped radish leaves.
Sprinkle some black sesame seeds for a nutritional twist and serve hot.
