Mooli Moong Dal Recipe

1/2 Tbsp(6.0 gm) Tomato(Chopped)

1/2 Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Chilli(Chopped)

1/4 Tsp(0.6 gm) Haldi

1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt

1 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil

As Required(150.0 ml) Water
  • First cook 2.5 Tbsp of soaked moong dal and keep aside.

  • In a kadhai, add 1 tsp of oil,1/2 tsp each of jeera and chopped green chilli.

  • Then add 1 tbsp of chopped onion and saute for a minute.

  • Next, add 1/2 tbsp of chopped tomato, 1/4th tsp each of haldi and salt and mix well.

  • Add 2.5 tbsp of soaked and cooked moong dal and mix well.

  • Add 100 ml of water and cook till the mix thickens.

  • Garnish with 1 tbsp of chopped radish leaves.

  • Sprinkle some black sesame seeds for a nutritional twist and serve hot.
