Mixed vegetable dal is healthy, nutritious and flavorful recipe that is an alternative to our traditional dal.
Heat 2 tsp ghee in a pan and add 1/4th cup chopped onion, 1 tsp chopped ginger, 1/4th cup chopped tomato.
Saute the ingredients well.
Now add 1/4th cup mix vegetables,1/4th tsp salt,1/4th tsp red chilli powder and 1/4th tsp hing.
Add some water, cover the pan with a lid and cook for a few minutes.
Then, add cooked tur dal and mix well.
Cover again and cook for 5 mins more.
Garnish the dal with 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
Sprinkle some mixed seeds for a nutritional twist.
