Ingredients
Steps
- Step 1
Heat a pan with1 tsp ghee, add 1/4 cup chopped onion, 1 tsp chopped ginger, 1/4 cup chopped tomato and saute until soft
- Step 2
Add 1 tbsp chopped carrot, 2 tbsp chopped cabbage, 1/2 tbsp peas and mix well
- Step 3
Season with 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder and 1/4 tsp hing.
- Step 4
Pour in some water, cover the pan and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Step 5
Add cooked tur dal and mix well.
- Step 6
Cover and cook for another 2 minutes until all flavors combine well
- Step 7
Garnish the dal with 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
- Step 8
Give it a Nestle Twist by adding mixed seeds
- Step 9
Serve hot with rice
