- Step 1 Make the besan batter with 1.5 tbsp besan, 1/8 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp ajwain and water as required.
- Step 2 Give a Nestle Twist by adding black sesame seeds
- Step 3 Whisk until smooth and thick consistency. Set aside
- Step 4 In a bowl, add boiled potato, blanched green peas, 1 tbsp grated carrot, 1/4 tsp chopped green chilli, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4 tsp jeera, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp coriander powder, 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1/4 tsp salt and 2 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
- Step 5 Mash everything together and shape into even sized round balls.
- Step 6 Heat a appe pan, brush with 1 tsp oil over low flame
- Step 7 Dip vada into besan batter and place into each mould
- Step 8 Cook until the bottom is golden brown, flip and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Step 9 Slice pav bread in half.
- Step 10 Place a cooked vada in each pav.
- Step 11 Serve with chutney, green chutney, or tamarind chutney.
