  • For Batter

    Soak 2 tsp tur dal, 2 tsp chana dal, 2 tsp moong dal, gring it into a smooth batter.

  • Allow it to ferment overnight.

  • Add batter in a bowl, 1/8th tsp salt, a little water and make a slightly thin consistency. Keep aside.

  • For Sambhar

    In a pan, add 2 tsp oil.

  • Add 1/2 tsp rai, 4 kadi patta, 2 red chillies, 1/2 tsp haldi, 1/2 tsp red chilly powder, 1 tbsp sambhar powder, 1/4th cup julienne onion and saute.

  • Add 1/4th cup diced tomato, 1 diced drumstick, 2 tbsp chopped carrot, 2 tbsp chopped brinjal and 2 tbsp chopped pumpkin. Mix well.

  • Add 1/2 tsp salt, boiled tur dal, 1 tbsp tamarind pulp and cook well.

  • For Dosa

    Pour a ladle of batter on a heated tawa.

  • Roast with 1 tsp oil, flip and roast until both sides are well cooked.

  • Serve with hot sambhar.
