- Step 1 Heat a kadhai with 2 tsp oil, add 1 tsp chopped garlic, 1 tsp chopped ginger, 1/2 tsp hing, 2.5 tbsp chopped onion, 2 tbsp chopped tomato and saute until soft
- Step 2 Add 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp salt and 1 tsp garam masala.
- Step 3 Cook for a minute until all spices combine well
- Step 4 Add the cooked pulses and mix well
- Step 5 Pour in little water and simmer for a minute
- Step 6 Give it a Nestle Twist by adding kasuri methi
- Step 7 Garnish with 1 tsp coriander leaves.
- Step 8 Serve hot with pav.
