Millet Raw Banana Pockets Recipe

3.0 Boiled Mashed Tbsp(46.0 gm) Raw Banana
2.0 Tbsp(15.0 gm) Peas
2.0 Tbsp(13.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)
2.0 Flour Tbsp(10.0 gm) Jowar
1.0 Flour Tbsp(8.0 ml) Bajra
1.0 Chopped Tsp(0.92 gm) Coriander Leaves
1/4 Tsp(0.93 gm) Rai
1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
1/4 Powder Tsp(0.54 gm) Red Chilly
1/4 Tsp(0.37 gm) Garam Masala
1/8 Tsp(0.29 gm) Haldi
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1.0 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil
1.0 Tbsp(8.0 ml) Oil
50.0 Ml(50.0 ml) Water
  • Heat 1 tsp oil in a kadai, add 1/4th tsp rai, 1/4th tsp jeera and allow it to crackle

  • Add 1/2 tsp red chilly powder, enough water, 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp garam masala and mix it well, 1/8th tsp salt, 1 tbsp peas, mix it well

  • Add the boiled and mashed banana, 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves

  • Mix it well

  • For the sheet

    In 1 tbsp wheat flour, add 1 tbsp jowar flour,1 tbsp bajra flour, 1/8th tsp salt, water and knead it into a dough

  • Roll it out using a rolling pin

  • Add the mixture and seal in a square shape

  • Heat oil for frying in a pan

  • Deep fry till golden brown

  • Serve it hot
