An interesting, healthy snack made with a blend of a variety of millet flours and protein rich tofu makes an idle snack choice.
Heat 1 tsp oil
Add 1/4th tsp rai, 1/4th tsp jeera and allow to crackle.
Add 1/4th tsp red chilly powder and water.
Add 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp garam masala, 1/8th tsp salt and water as required.
Now add 1/4th cup diced tofu, 2 tbsp chopped pudina, 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
Cover & allow to cook well.
Mix well and keep aside.
In a bowl add 1tbsp wheat flour, 1tbsp jowar flour, 1tbsp bajra flour, 1/8th tsp salt mix it well.
Add water and knead it into a dough. Keep it aside.
For tofu pockets
Roll out the dough using rolling pin, add the prepared mixture and seal in square shape.
Heat oil for frying and deep fry until golden brown.
Serve a fun snack hot with ketchup or chutney.
