Methi Thepla With Curd Recipe

A variation to the regular plain theplas is a fiber and iron rich thepla with the addition of methi leaves. Usually paired with curd making a healthy breakfast option.

1/4 Tsp(0.6 gm) Ginger Garlic Paste

1/4 Tsp(0.28 gm) Jeera

1/4 Tsp(0.18 gm) Red Chilly Powder

1/4 Tsp(0.29 gm) Haldi

1/4 Tsp(0.54 gm) Salt

1 Tsp(2.0 ml) Oil

As Required(24.0 ml) Water

1 Bowl(100.0 gm) Curd(Small)
  • In a bowl, add 1/4th cup wheat flour, 4 tsp besan, 1/4th tsp haldi,1/4th tsp red chilli powder, 1/4th tsp jeera, and 1/4th tsp salt.

  • Now, add 1/4th tsp ginger garlic paste and 1.5 tbsp of chopped methi leaves.

  • Add 50ml water and knead the dough well.

  • Take the dough and roll into a thepla.

  • Heat a tawa, roast both sides and apply1 tsp oil

  • Serve hot with curd.
