Methi Pyaz Paratha With Oil Recipe

Layers of cooked dough stuffed with onion and fenugreek leaves roasted to perfection, making it a complete dish or tiffin for children.

2 Tbsp(8.0 gm) Methi Leaves (Chopped)

1/4 Cup(36.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)

1/8 Tsp(0.27 gm) Red Chilly (Powder)

1 Tbsp(8.0 gm) Onion (Chopped)

1/8 Tsp(0.3 gm) Haldi

1/2 Tsp(3.0 gm) Ginger Garlic Paste

1/8 Tsp(0.56 gm) Salt

1 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil

As Required(30.0 ml) Water
  • Knead 1/4th cup wheat flour into a dough.

  • For the stuffing

    In a bowl, add 2 tbsp chopped methi leaves, 1 tbsp chopped onion, 1/8th tsp salt, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/8th tsp haldi and 1/8th tsp red chilli powder.

  • Mash and mix it well.

  • Roll the dough and add the stuffing.

  • Seal it from all the sides and roll into a paratha.

  • On a frying pan, roast the paratha on both the sides with oil.

  • Serve with Nestlé A+ Curd.
