One of the most unique aspects of fenugreek is that, is a very useful herb in any form – powdered, seeds, dried leaves and as a vegetable. Apart from being used in methi and papad (fresh leaves) or as a spice (kasuri methi), fenugreek leaves also have many cosmetic and health purposes.
Heat kadhai, add 2 tsp oil, 1/4th tsp cumin seeds, 1/4th tsp hing & stir.
Then add 3/4th cup methi beej, 1/4th tsp red chilli powder, 1/4th tsp ajwain, 1/4th tsp turmeric powder, 1/4th tsp dhania powder, 1/4th tsp salt, mix well.
Add 1 tbsp jaggery, water, add small pieces of 2 papad & mix well.
Add 1 tbsp coriander leaves, kasuri methi (Nutritional Twist) & cook for 3 minutes.
