Methi Matar Malai Curry Recipe

1/2 Chopped Cup(26.0 gm) Methi Leaves
2.0 Boiled Tbsp(23.0 gm) Peas
2.0 Tbsp(23.0 ml) Nestlé A+ Milk
1.0 Chopped Tbsp(8.0 gm) Onion
2.0 Tsp(8.0 gm) Cream
4.0 Number(5.0 gm) Cashewnut
1.0 Number(0.23 gm) Green Elaichi
1/2 Chopped Tsp(0.46 gm) Coriander Leaves
1/4 Chopped Tsp(0.62 gm) Garlic
1/4 Grated Tsp(0.47 gm) Ginger
1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
1/4 Tsp(0.37 gm) Garam Masala
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
4.0 Tsp(13.0 ml) Oil
  • Prepreparation

    Boil 2 tbsp peas and keep aside.

  • For the paste

    In a kadhai, add 2 tsp oil.

  • When the oil is heated, add 1/4th tsp jeera, 1/4th tsp grated ginger, 1/4th tsp garlic, 1 cardamom, 4 cashewnuts and 1 tbsp chopped onion.

  • Saut well and blend it to a smooth mixture. Keep aside.

  • For the gravy

    In another kadhai, heat 2 tsp oil.

  • Add the mixture along with 2 tbsp Nestlé A+ Milk, 1/2 cup chopped methi leaves and mix well.

  • When it begins to simmer, add 1/4th tsp salt, 2 tbsp boiled peas, 2 tsp cream, 1/4th tsp garam masala and then garnish it with 1/2 tsp coriander leaves

  • Mix well and serve hot with chapatti.
