Methi Malai Paneer Recipe

This deliciously looking main dish recipe has a creamy taste with soft and chewy paneer.

  • Heat 1 tsp oil in a frying pan and add 1/4th tsp Jeera.

  • Once jeera starts crackling, add 2 tbsp chopped onion, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4th tsp chopped green chilli and sauté.

  • Once the onions start turning slightly transparent, add 1 tbsp chopped tomato along with previously made cashew nut and almond paste, sauté well.

  • Making sure all the ingredients are mixed properly, put the mixture in a mixing jar along with a little water, grind it and keep aside.

  • Take a fresh frying pan at a low flame and heat 1 tsp oil.

  • Add 2 tbsp chopped methi leaves and sauté.

  • Once slightly cooked, add the previously ground onion tomato paste.

  • Add 1/4th tsp red chilli powder, 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp dhania powder, 1/4th tsp salt and 1/4th tsp sugar.

  • Mix properly and add a little water.

  • Fold in 2 tsp cream and add 3 tbsp paneer cubes.

  • Mix well and let it cook.

  • Serve hot with chapatti or rice.
