Methi Malai Murgh Recipe

Delicious and creamy methi malai chicken which taste great with rice or roti.

1/2 Tsp(3.0 gm) Ginger Garlic Paste

1/4 Tsp(0.75 gm) Black Pepper (Powder)

1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Chilli Paste

1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt

2 Tsp(7.0 ml) Oil

As Required(15.0 ml) Water
  • In a small bowl, add 50 gm chicken pieces, 1 tbsp curd, 1/4th tsp black pepper powder, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste and mix well.

  • Then add 1/4th tsp green chilli paste and mix again.

  • Take a kadhai and heat 2 tsp oil.

  • Add 1/4th tsp jeera, 1.5 tbsp chopped onion and saute till translucent.

  • Add marinated chicken to the mixture and saute well.

  • When it begins to simmer, add 1 cup methi leaves and mix well.

  • Once the methi is reduced in volume, add 1/4th tsp salt, water as required and mix well.

  • Then add 1 tbsp cashew paste, 1 tbsp fresh cream and mix again.

  • /cover and cook till done.

  • Serve hot with chapatti.
