Mava Cake Recipe

Mawa Cake is a moist, dense, decadent and delectable dessert. It is an excellent tea-time cake that is simple to make and great for occasions.

1/2 Cup(64.0 gm) Maida
1/2 Tsp(1.0 gm) Maida
1/4 Cup(51.0 ml) Nestlé A+ Milk
1.0 Egg Whole(45.0 gm) Egg
2.0 Tbsp(20.0 gm) Khoa
1.0 Chopped Tbsp(11.0 gm) Almond
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Baking Powder
1/4 Powder Tsp(0.5 gm) Green Elaichi
1/4 Powder Cup(36.0 gm) Sugar
2.0 Tbsp(23.0 gm) Butter
1/2 Tsp(2.0 ml) Oil
  • In a bowl, add 2 tbsp butter, 1/4th cup Nestlé A+ Milk, an egg yolk, 1/4th cup powdered sugar, 2 tbsp khoa and whisk well.

  • Sieve in 1/2 cup maida and1/2 tsp baking powder and mix.

  • Add 1/4th tsp elaichi powder and give it a mix.

  • Add whipped egg white, 1 tbsp chopped badam, 1 tbsp chopped pista and give a slight mix.

  • Coat the tin with 1/2 tsp oil and 1/2 tsp maida and pour the batter.

  • Bake at 180 degree celsius for 25 mins.

  • Check with a toothpick if cake is done.

  • Serve a dessert for an evening tea.
