Fresh matar sabji is the delicacy of winter season. This easy, flavorful spicy,mouth water sabji is can be served as main dish side by parathas, chapatti or rice.
Take a kadhai and heat 1 tsp oil on a low flame.
Add 1 black elaichi, 1 bay leaf, 1/4th tsp jeera and allow it to crackle.
To this, add 2 tbsp chopped onion and saute until golden brown.
Add 1/4th tsp ginger garlic paste and 2 tbsp chopped tomato. Mix well.
In this mixture, add 1/4th tsp red chilly powder, 1/4th tsp garam masala powder, 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/8th tsp salt and 1/2 tsp chopped green chillies. Mix properly.
Add water and stir well
Close the lid and allow to cook on medium for 2 minutes.
Add 1/2 cup fresh peas and let it simmer.
Add 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves for garnish and serve hot.
