- Step 1 Heat a pan, add 1 tsp butter, 1/8 cup chopped onion and saute until soft
- Step 2 Add 1/2 tsp chopped garlic, 1/2 cup diced tomato and cooked masoor dal.
- Step 3 Season with 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper powder and mix well
- Step 4 Pour in some water and stir well
- Step 5 Simmer over low flame until all flavors meld together
- Step 6 Give it a Nestle Twist by adding black sesame seeds
- Step 7 Turn off the heat and allow it to cool slightly
- Step 8 Add it to a blender and blend until smooth
- Step 9 Transfer to a serving bowl
- Step 10 Garnish with fresh coriander leaves
- Step 11 Serve hot.
